Project Description
VetScan VUE
The features of all rapid tests from the VetScan series are high specificity and sensitivity, the tests can be stored at room temperature and don’t take up much space. In just three easy steps, they provide reliable results from full blood, serum or plasma samples for the most commonly checked infectious diseases in small practice (e.g. FeLV, FIV, borreliosis, anaplasmosis, ehrlichiosis, heartworm disease, giardiasis and canine parvovirus). Combined with a rapid test reader, VetScan VUE also determines the amount of canine pancreatic lipase in the blood.
The VUE is a small reader that automatically checks test results after the time set for the correct response has elapsed. Via its wireless connection method, it transmits the results in digital form to a computer or smartphone so they can be obtained immediately and always at hand. It is available for use on Android or iOS operating systems.
The advantage of using an electronic reader is mainly in the repeatability of the results and the objective assessment of colour reactions on test cassettes.
